Freshman Scholarship

What is the Freshman Scholarship?

Most engineering scholarships are awarded to continuing students (sophomore - senior), however the College has made available a limited amount of scholarships for new freshman. These scholarships range from $500 - $2,000 and are not renewable for subsequent years.

These scholarships are meant to help students with financial need to pay for college expenses as well as help the College recruit hard working, dedicated and successful first-year students. The review process will be a comprehensive approach. The College will look at the whole student's profile, example: high school record, test scores, financial and individual accomplishments.

How Do I Apply?

Applications are available to students who have applied and been accepted to UA Engineering. Please Complete the Freshman Scholarship Application and return it via mail or fax to the College of Engineering Academic Affairs office. The deadline to apply is May 3, 2013. Students Must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
