Engineering Design Day Project

The senior capstone project for this team of seniors, shown here at Engineering Design Day in May 2009, involved designing a rear suspension system for the Baja racecar that could withstand severe competition stresses.

A Smooth Transition...

Students transferring from Pima Community College to The University of Arizona are strongly encouraged to take STU 210 at Pima before transferring to UA.

This course offers UA campus visits; meetings with UA staff members who represent the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Center for Transfer Students and other University resources; and consultation for evaluating transfer timing. This course transfers to the UA as elective credit. See a P.C.C. counselor or advisor about enrolling in STU 210.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering

For students attending classes at Pima Community College and preparing to transfer to The University of Arizona, the following course work is recommended. Refer to the UA General Catalog or contact the Dean’s Office in the College of Engineering for additional information. A maximum of 64 credits of community college course work may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program at The University of Arizona. Consult your advisor regarding course selection.
