Visit the Next Steps Center, your enrollment portal. It's your one-stop shop for everything you need before the first day of classes, from tuition payment details to your school email setup, plus important dates and deadlines.
Sign up for your Virtual Orientation Experience, which is required for all new Main Campus first-year and transfer students.
Explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities, including FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and Scholarship Universe, our scholarship-matching tool for admitted University of Arizona students.
Explore living and dining on campus. Incoming first-year students are expected to live on campus, so start browsing our 23 dorms.
Complete your Math Placement through Next Steps. Engineering students typically start in Calculus, so completing placement early helps with course registration.

$1,000 - $1,500

For incoming first-year students who are National Merit Semifinalists/Finalists. Renewable with qualifying GPA.

Transfer Student?

The Transfer Student Center connects you with resources, information, and peer mentors. If you're joining our fall 2026 incoming class on main campus as a transfer student, remember the deadline to complete your enrollment is July 1, 2026.

The College of Engineering has invested in transfer-specific awards ranging from $750 to $3,000 to help you get started. These are granted automatically if you're eligible—no application required!
